Biography
I'm a Christian speaker and freelance writer for Christianity Today, Charisma, Ministry Today, Outreach, Plain Truth, CBN.com, ToTheSource.org. and CalWatchdog.com. I'm also an award-winning reporter at the Los Angeles Daily News and nine other California newspapers with 600,000 circulation. As a Christian magazine writer and mainstream newspaper reporter, I can offer a unique perspective on a variety of topics. I wrote "A City of Angels for the Homeless" for Christianity Today and proposed and contributed to the CT cover story "God Is Not Dead Yet." I wrote "Digital Awakening," "Kirk Cameron," "Last Days Fever," "Looking Up When The Economy Is Down," "The Incredible Story of Nick Vujicic," "Age of E-vangelism" and "Faith on Film" for Charisma. I also wrote "7 Ways To Change The World" for Ministry Today and "Ministry Breakthroughs" for Outreach magazine. During my 18-year writing career, I've won nearly two dozen journalism awards and was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for a foster care series that contributed to "revolutionary" national reforms. I was featured as an investigative reporter in the McGraw-Hill book, "Careers For Puzzle-Solvers & Other Methodical Thinkers." I'm currently working on my first book - soon to be released by HarperCollins - entitled "Revolutionary Christianity: How to Join the Rock Stars, Radicals and Other Righteous Souls Helping the Poor, Sick, Orphans and Widows and Taking the Good News to the Ends of the Earth."
